Dear Mr. Damson,
Subject: Complaint
I am writing to you to complain about the terrible service I received on a holiday
arranged by your travel agent in Sunset Tours. The tourism programme in question,
entitled 'Beautiful Memories are Awaiting', timetabled on the 20th of August –
Reference Number: BF874/01.
My particular complaint concerns the travel arrangements, which were disastrous
from start to finish. As requested, we arrived two hours before the departure time in
order to check in. However, we were told in an impolite way that we could not
check in as the flight was overbooked. We were offered no explanation by the
check-in staff and we could not find any representative of your company at the
airport. Surely, you could employ someone to oversee the smooth running of
arrangements.
When we eventually boarded the aeroplane after three hours waiting, we found that
it was extremely crowded and its seats have a very little leg-room. There were no
in-flight entertainments and the meal was quite frankly bad. Again my complaints
to the hostess were ignored. She was ridiculous and unfriendly, and even managed
to spill hot coffee over my wife. Can you imagine that?
