Dear Mrs. Lee,
I am writing to complain about my recent stay at your hotel – Knights Inn.
My wife and I arrived on Wednesday; the 2nd of April and stayed at your hotel for a
fortnight's time.
Although we were treated well and found the service and your staff excellent, there
are one or two matters that I want to draw your attention to.
Firstly, we had hopped for a complete break from our busy work lives and indeed
your brochure promised the chance to relax. However, we were surprised to find
that there was a lot of noisy building work throughout the period of our stay.
Secondly, we had hoped to make use of the luxurious restaurant, but we were
astonished, when we found that it was closed for the entire period of our stay.
I hope you do not mind writing to you about these things, but I would be grateful if
you could give me some explanation.
I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
