GRACE, Exploring Its Riches

                               v. A Definitive Point of Repentance and Its Fruits
Results of financial or material prosperity are not enough.
Receiving mighty works of miracles and breakthroughs are
not enough proof that you belong to God’s kingdom.
There must be a definitive point in your life when you
came to repentance and begin to show its fruits. It is one
reason no one gets born again in a dream, and why it is
never done by proxy. Your spouse can’t get born again on
your behalf. Your parents can’t repent for you. This is one
thing we all must do one by one: every man to himself.

There were entire cities who experienced miracles, signs
and wonders from the ministry of Jesus; and yet those
people did not come to repentance. Chorazin, Bethsaida
and Capernaum, for instance, all great cities that saw great
miracles of Jesus, yet adamantly remained in their sins,
unconverted because they would not repent. The
lamentation of the Lord against these cities in Matthew
                               11:20-24 is strident and foreboding:

“Then He began to rebuke the cities in which
most of His mighty works had been done, because
they did not repent: “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe

to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which
were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon,
they would have repented long ago in sackcloth
and ashes. But I say to you, it will be more
tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of
judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum,
