GRACE, Exploring Its Riches
uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous
judgments. I will keep Your statutes; Oh, do not
forsake me utterly! How can a young man cleanse
his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let
me not wander from Your commandments! Your
word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not
sin against You.”
Actually, all of Psalm 119 points at how the word of God has
the grace within it to produce instruction, cleansing,
direction, revival, illumination, and several other profitable
virtues that can be desired for living a godly life.
e. A Recipe for Good Success
After the death of Moses, the servant of God, God started to
speak to his associate, Joshua the son of Nun, about the
importance of God’s word as a recipe for good success.
“Only be strong and very courageous,” He said in Joshua
1:7-8, “that you may observe to do according to all the law
which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it
to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever
you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your
mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you
may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For
then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will
have good success.”
