Christian, you dare not stay up late at night and fret
over conditions. Be aware and take all of God's warn-
ings to heart. But after you have done all you can, then
sit back, go to sleep, and trust God. God said:
It is senseless for you to work so hard from
early morning until late at night, fearing you will
starve to death; for God wants his loved ones to
get their proper rest.

You can be very sure that the evil man will not
go unpunished forever. And you can also be very
sure that God will rescue the children of the godly.
The good man can look forward to happiness,
while the wicked can expect only wrath.

No real harm befalls the good, but there is con-
stant trouble for the wicked.

The Lord is a strong fortress. The godly run to
him and are safe. The rich man thinks of his
wealth as an impregnable defense, a high wall of
safety. What a dreamer!

I read the papers and watch the news in a day and
age that seems to be hopeless. Any average world-
watcher sees the handwriting on the wall. Famine stalks
