joy. The systematised order of Cosmic Life Force or God ordains that Man gives birth to
Man, tiger begets tiger, the mango tree bears mangoes and the neem tree bears neem

fruits. In the same way, joy must create joy and must not generate sorrow or suffering.
In this context, the following principle of JEEVANVIDYA is instructive.

"The festival of Joy or DIWALI is in keeping the flame of bliss or joy constantly
            illuminating human life.''

As stated earlier, the intention of God is that, the inherent bliss must blossom and
bloom continuously everywhere in the universe. In fact, a splendid festival of joy is being

celebrated in the universe as per God's design. The entire life emerges from bliss, exists
in bliss, lives for bliss and eventually dissolves itself into bliss, to be regenerated again

from bliss itself. This phenomenon can be clarified with the help of an example. The sun
in the sky brightly illuminates the life with joy by emitting a continuous stream of bliss in

the form of light. The vast expanse of the ocean also showers blessings in various forms.
Firstly, this ocean is ever ready to bequeath to the universe the treasure of jewels

existing in its depths. Secondly, the ocean accommodates numerous rivers in its bosom
and merrily sways with bliss in the form of waves. Thirdly, the ocean develops 'a love

bond' with the sun through the process of evaporation and compels the clouds to shower
bliss in the form of rains. Similarly, the hills and the mountains nurture the growth of

numerous plants and trees, shelter numerous animals and constantly strive to bless their
lives with bliss in the form of fragrance. So also the creator of the universe also

celebrates this festival of bliss in the form of rivers and rivulets, the gurgling brooks and
bubbling springs and the plants and trees that give shade, fruits and flowers. The

grandeur of this nature's festival of bliss can be seen in the planets which revolve around
the sun reminding us of the well known sight of Shri Krishna's merriment of

RASAKREEDA (रासक्रीडा) with GOP (गोप) and GOPIS (गोपी). Similarly the revolving of

electrons around the nucleus of an atom is in fact, a form of Nature's blessing of bliss.

The abundant production of food grains which is a blessing for all living beings is also
another benevolent form of celebrating this festival of bliss. In addition, Nature has also

devised wonderful methods to bless life with joy in the form of inexhaustible quantities of
air, light and water, which are so essential to sustain life. Thus God has designed a

beautiful systematised order to bless all living beings in the universe, by creating in
abundance all those items that are necessary to sustain their lives. Similarly plants,

trees, various types of life forms, aquatic animals, birds, animals and human beings
also experience this festival of bliss in the form of the process of creation from

                                                                                                              46
