calamities. Even after facing all these predicaments, the happiness that Man experiences
from these worldly objects, lasts for a short period, that means it is only fleeting in
nature. Therefore, by adopting this method nobody is benefited. On the contrary, when
Man adopts foul means to earn plenty of money, he drives himself, his family and the
society in which he lives towards the valley of mental tensions, agonies, sufferings and
miseries.
The fifth method is to experience bliss in the form of peace and happiness, in the
very process of making others happy. According to JEEVANVIDYA, this fifth method is by
all means the best from all angles and from all aspects. Hence, let us deal with this
method in a little more details. JEEVANVIDYA recommends a very easy and appropriate
method which will be agreeable, convincing and acceptable to all people. This process is
to make sincere efforts to bless others with bliss, which is Man's intrinsic nature. This is
necessary because Man is not capable of enjoying or experiencing his intrinsic bliss by
himself. To overcome this difficulty, Man must make sincere efforts to impart the bliss
within him to others. This process attracts the universal law of 'Action and Reaction'
according to which, bliss given to others in the form of happiness, boomerangs and
comes back to Man imparting bliss. Here it is necessary to explain two inportant aspects
of this law of 'Action and Reaction'. The first aspect of this law is 'Action and Reaction is
equal and opposite' and the second aspect is 'Reaction to action is multiplied and
magnified'. According to the first aspect, if the action is of gross nature, the reaction is
also of a gross nature. For example, if a person throws a ball at a wall, the ball will
boomerang and come back to him. However if the action is subtle by nature, the reaction
to such an action is multiplied and magnified. For instance, a farmer plants a mango seed
which grows into a huge tree and gives fruit in the form of hundreds of mangoes. In the
same way, happiness by nature is subtle and when Man gives this happiness to others, it
comes back to him in multiplied and magnified form, from various directions. Similarly
grief by nature is also subtle and if Man gives grief to others, it comes back to him
multiplied and magnified. The fact is, Man does not want grief but aspires only for
happiness. Hence the royal road to happiness, is to make others happy. Here a question
may arise, as to "what is the appropriate method to do this?" It is a well known fact that
a medium is always necessary through which subtle things can be supplied. For example,
electricity is a subtle energy which requires a medium of wire through which electricity
can be supplied. Similarly happiness being subtle by nature, requires the medium of
actions at the three levels of thoughts, speech and deeds to impart it to others. Man
