P. 56
The first method is basically a very difficult process and is not meant for worldly
people. Besides, the bliss that a person experiences by following this method is limited
only to himself. So also such people prefer to remain secluded from the society and do
not contribute towards the progress of the nation and the welfare and well being of the
human society. Also, this method cannot be practised without the help of a very able
guide.
The second method is equally dificult to follow. It is certainly not as easy as it

practised by common people, who are very much entangled in the worldly life. However
detached people who adopt this method, can achieve self liberation by attaining
communion with the divinity within. The fact remains that they also remain secluded
from the society and do not contribute to the progress of the nation and the welfare and

3) The mind must be steadfastand able to concentrate.

this method. The general nature of the mind is that it craves for an object only till it
achieves that object, but the mind loses the attraction the moment it possesses that
object. Thus the mind is continuously in the process of changing the objects in search of
happiness. Similarly, plenty of money is required to acquire the desired objective. Hence
on the one hand, Man wastes his energy in this pursuit and on the other, he tries to earn
enough money even by foul means to achieve his objective. Similarly in the process of
earning money by foul means, he exposes himself to several problems, difficulties and
