Page 61 - Towards The Goal Of Beautiful Life
P. 61
There is a very intimate and mutual relationship amongst thoughts, speech and deeds.
Thoughts are transformed into speech and deeds. Man initially thinks and according to
his thinking, he speaks and acts. Hence it is very essential to constantly fill the conscious
mind with beautiful healthy and harmonious thoughts, so as to consistently experience a
beautiful and happy life. In this context, the following views of the French philosopher
James Allen are quite instructive.
"As you alter your thoughts towards things and other people, the things and other
people will alter towards you. The Divinity that shapes your ends is in your own self. All
that you achieve is the direct results of your own thoughts.''
Thought Pollution
According to JEEVANVIDYA,
"The greatest problem, in fact the only problem that Man has to fight, is thought
pollution."
From historical times, a series of problems have been created in the past and
continue to be created even now because nobody has attempted so far to find the basic
reason for this situation. This is the reason why history is repeating itself. Since nobody
has made any serious effort to find out the root cause of this situation, the remedies that
are being devised are of a hanky panky nature. Although some progress has been made
and some improvements have been achieved so far in various spheres of human life,
Man has in fact remained as he was, since the root cause of the main problem of his life
was not tackled. JEEVANVIDYA states that,
From historical times, thought pollution is the basic reason for all the problems of
the human race.
Unfortunately, since the human race is not aware of this vital truth, it has made no
efforts to eradicate the root cause. Ignorance is the main devil that dominates human
life. In fact, thought pollution is a product of ignorance, which in turn breeds all sorts of
evil tendencies such as ego, pride, hatred, envy, recklessness, indiscretion and
dissatisfaction. Man is also ignorant about the true concepts of God, religion, culture,
mind, destiny, happiness, Pāpa-punya, etc. Thought pollution is, therefore, created in
tremendous magnitude through the wrong type of education, training and impressions
that the human race receives, knowingly or unknowingly, on the basis of this vast
ignorance. Vibrations that are generated from sound waves affect human life beneficially
or adversely. In comparision to the sound vibrations, the thought vibrations are
