around Man, beneficial circumstances, favourable things and good people are attracted
towards this person. Hence when Man becomes the holder of the wheel of beautiful,
blissful thoughts, his life becomes healthy, happy, prosperous and successful.
Thoughts are like children
Man gives birth to children. Some of them are meritorious while some of them are
vicious. Good children become a source of Man's peace and happiness, while evil children
become a source of his sorrows and miseries. Similarly Man gives birth to thoughts.
Some thoughts are auspicious and constructive while other thoughts are inauspicious and
destructive. Good thoughts become responsible for creating Man's auspicious destiny
(ननयती), while evil thoughts become responsible for creating his inauspicious destiny.
Auspicious destiny ensures Man's success, prosperity, health, happiness and peace, while
inauspicious destiny becomes responsible for his failure, adversity, disease, sorrows and
sufferings.
Thoughts are like trees
Man plants the seeds of trees and nurtures them with water and manure. Man
reaps the fruits of the trees according to the type of the seeds of the trees he plants. If
he plants the seeds of Kadulimba (कडूभलंब), a tree which gives fruits of bitter taste he gets
the fruits of Kadulimba. On the other hand, if he plants the seeds of a Mango tree, he
gets Mangoes. Similarly thoughts are seeds and Man's conscious mind is the farmer,
while his subconscious mind is the farm. The 'farmer' which is the conscious mind, plants
the seeds of good or evil thoughts in the 'farm' of the subconscious mind and 'waters'
them by means of his habitual thinking and contemplation and nourishes them, by his
speech and deeds. Thus, Man enjoys a happy, successful, prosperous life, if he plants the
seeds of beautiful and constructive thoughts in his subconscious mind. On the contrary, if
he harbours the seeds of evil and destructive thoughts in his subconscious mind, he
experiences violence, chaos, confusion and sorrow in his life.
Another aspect of thought
There is also another aspect about the habit of contemplation. Normally, Man
experiences favourable as well as adverse circumstances, conditions and events in his
life. However, the common people forget immediately the favourable events, but
contemplate continuously about the adverse events in their lives. For example, if a man
is treated with honour and respect, he forgets it immediately, but if he is insulted, he
