                                          Lesson 4 “E to the 7 Power”
                                                         Classroom

                1. Post a Quote in the room (whiteboard, flipchart, etc.) relevant to the day’s material (Use
highlighted quotes in the workbook if you would like)

                2. Introduction Story: Google “5 Chimps Theory” and share this story with the class. The lesson
you are trying to get convey is this: They are half way through the TOPUCU program. If they have
been applying the principles and continue to do so they will start thinking differently. Others will
sense this and try to hold them back. They need to be aware and prepared for these situations.

                3. Review
                       a. In lesson 1 we talked about habit and routine change. Everyone should be working on this
daily. How has this been going?

                       b. Who can tell me what the motivation formula is? Who has a good story about a time they
have used or applied the motivation scales?

                       c. In our last class we discussed Pain Association Transfer and the importance of embracing
pain because with change pain is certain! Who has used PAT to do something they don’t
want to do in order to become who they want to become?
                       d. Open the floor for questions, discussion and dialogue regarding the previous lessons and
                          above information.

                Homework/Reading Assignment:
                   1. Start nurturing the positive power of E to the 7th. Begin by thinking and speaking things you
want to be that are positive. Focus on positive, good change and stop worrying or focusing
                       on any of the negative.
                   2. Memorize all 7 E’s. You do this in order to understand where you are. You can catch yourself
before you fall down the slippery slope. You can then use it to put yourself on the positive path.
