How to Create a Brain Based Learning Classroom

Target Audience: Elementary School, Special Education

This session will explore the various tenets of brain-based learning, specifically, for the synchronous
classroom. Teachers will be introduced to brain based learning strategies and how to implement them.
Teachers will learn how movement facilitates cognition by participating in Carla's brain gym, and
learning cross lateralization movement energizers and the Multiplication Macarena.

i-Ready Assessment and Instructional Path Training
Presented By: i-Ready Curriculum Associates
Target Audience: Middle School, K-12 Services ** This is a closed session that is available only to
specified participants.

Curriculum Associates will present an overview of how teachers can push out the Adaptive Diagnostic
Assessment to their students, view student data, interpret results, and drive their instruction. The
overview will also include information pertaining to the individualized Instructional Path that all students
will complete weekly. Teachers will learn how the path is developed, what their students will be working
on, and how to view the ongoing data.
