from the 2017 Character Summit, this workshop will help kids adopt a malleable theory of intelligence.
You’ll spend most of your time planning a set of experiences to introduce students to what this means
for them! We’ll briefly review research describing what happens for kids who have a growth mindset,
and how you can specifically teach these concepts at any grade level, in any content. At the end of this
workshop, you’ll have a clear plan for starting the school year teaching growth mindset in your
classroom, and a path for specific instructional lessons to apply for the next 10 months!
