Section 7 Trustees
It shall be the duty of the Organization Trustees to audit the books at each quarterly business
meeting and to review the status of the current budget. If all Trustees are not in attendance, any
vacancy shall be filled by an appointee of the presiding officer. After approval, the Financial
Report will be signed by all trustees, Secretary-Treasurer, and President. The Executive Vice
President shall attend all audits, if possible. The Trustees shall make a report of their findings on
examinations of the books and to review the status of the current budget to the Executive Board
and to the delegates at each Convention. The Trustees and Executive Vice President shall have
the power to convene a meeting to discuss financial matters or duties with the Secretary-
Treasurer. By virtue of their election to the office, the Trustees shall be delegates-at-large at all
convention and all other meetings held by the APFF, each entitled to a voice and full
participation in the convention. The Trustees shall not be entitled to a vote solely by virtue of
his/her office but may vote as a Delegate of his/her Local as specified in Article 5, Section 2.
Section 8 Gubernatorial Appointments
Any member of the Arkansas Professional Fire Fighters that is appointed by the Governor to
represent the Arkansas Professional Fire Fighters on any State Board or Commission, shall be
allowed to register for the Arkansas Professional Fire Fighters Convention as a delegate-at-
large. All cost associated with attendance shall not be borne by the Arkansas Professional Fire
Fighters. By virtue of his/her position on the Board or Commission, said member shall be a
delegate-at-large at the Convention and other meetings held by the Arkansas Professional Fire
Fighters, entitled to a voice and full participation in the convention except the right to participate
in the elections of APFF officers.
1. Any APFF member that is appointed by the Governor to represent the Arkansas
Professional Fire Fighters to any State Board or Commission is entitled to a stipend if
not already being paid by Board or Commission at the following rate
a. $25 per meeting if they travel over 25 to 100 miles round trip and attends at least
2 quarterly meetings or one quarterly meeting and the APFF Convention. To
prove that you attended State Board or Commission said member will provide
minutes, to the APFF Sec/Treas., from the meeting showing they were present.
b. $50 per meeting if they travel 101 or over 200 miles round trip and attends at
least 2 quarterly meetings or one quarterly meeting and the APFF Convention.

Section 9 Committee Eligibility
No person shall be eligible to hold office or to be a member of any committee unless he/she is a
member in good standing.
