The café serves as a museum of sorts full of pictures from back in the day,
as well as having big model airplanes hoovering overhead. Rumor has it
that aircraft designs and improvement began as sketches on Flabob café
napkins.
Never one to miss an opportunity, in 1962 Grandpa brought a new side
business to the airport. He would start the “Fly by Night Sign Company.”
Grandpa would fly lighted messages in the skies at night. He used the
generators of the airplane to power the lights in the signs.
