Confidentiality for the Beta Test & Beta
Hotel
Why confidentiality?
While the two BETA hotels will be the first in Europe on the new GRS, it is also
a key milestone in our User Acceptance Testing. While we continue to test the
product (Grand User Acceptance Testing, Alpha hotel, Beta hotels and Pilot
hotels), we respectfully ask everyone involved to keep the results confidential.
The eyes in the industry are on us at this time so we want to be especially
careful to keep your hotel confidential, even within IHG.
After the successful Alpha test, follows a second Beta test and then a Pilot
program. Publicizing any results prior to completion could create
misinformation about the progress or success of the program.
What does the NDA mean?
A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) means that your hotel’s identity and your
involvement in the program cannot be discussed with anyone who has not
signed the Beta NDA. We want to keep the identity and progress of the Beta
hotel on a strictly “need-to-know” basis. For this reason, an Beta specific NDA
has been drafted for your hotel by the IHG Legal Department, and it has been
signed by all IHG employees participating in the Beta Test. A NDA has been
drafted and must be signed by all impacted employees at the hotel.
