Security – Identity Management

Security within the GRS is role-based with multiple roles possible for a single
user. Each individual using GRS will need to be set up with their own identity
and role assignments. The screens and functionality within the GRS is
designed based on roles and only those functions which correspond to a role
will be visible to the user. Manager assignment of log-ins increases
accountability, flexibility and productivity

SECURITY CHECKLIST

 Identification of all users at the hotel

 Assignment of roles to each user at the hotel in preparation for
creation. Role descriptions to be reviewed with your
Implementation Specialists
 Implementation Specialist will setup one person (likely the GM)

in IDM (Identity Management)
 GM (or other designated hotel user) will setup everyone else
that is needed with guidance from the Implementation

Specialist after migration
 Users will have already been trained on IDM before migration
to GRS during Grand UAT
