Migration and management of data

from Holidex Plus to GRS
®

The GRS migration process refers to the creation and movement of data from
HOLIDEX Plus to the GRS. Our strategy for migration is to minimize work for
®
the hotel by automating the data transfer and creating system scripts that
compare data between the two reservations systems.

 We consider migration a success when both systems contain the same data.
 During the first 30 days we will check daily that both systems contain the
same data using a dual entry process

The need for dual entry

For the first 30 days of BETA dual entry of all changes will be made in both GRS and
Holidex.

 Reservations made through channels (but not booking tool?) will flow through both
GRS and Holidex. Reservations entered into the booking tool will xxxxxxxxxx

 Any configuration changes such as inventory, rates, or policies

 Each day GRS and Holidex will be balanced automatically through an inspection
framework

 The Implementation Team will work with you to resolve any out-of-sync items
during the Beta test period
