3 HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR

CONDITIONING SYSTEMS

3.1 CODES

1. The heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems will be designed in accordance with:
a. International Codes as adopted by New York State, including referenced and amended, NFPA and Life Safety Codes
b. The New York City Construction Codes (2014 Edition)

c. The New York City Energy Conservation Code (2016 Edition)

3.2 DESIGN CRITERIA

1. The building HVAC shall be capable of maintaining the following environmental standards.

3.2.1 OUTDOOR DESIGN CONDITIONS
* Outdoor design conditions are based on ASHRAE Climate Data 0.4% for cooling and 99.6% for heating.

Design Conditions

Summer*: 92.2°F DB; 74.4°F WB

Winter*: 12.6°FDB; 15 MPH Winds
