Joe Hollingworth and his wife, Blanche, had endured eight days of parental agony. Their five- year-old daughter had been miss- ing those many cold autumn days in the White Mountains, near Iona Lake, close to Mount Co- chorura. The nation was aware of their plight and followed the progress of a search now sadly called a recovery mission. The story was featured in newspapers from coast to coast and was the subject of newsreels shown in movie theatres.
Many would call it a mira- cle when, on the 8th day of the search, Joe Martin and Rusty Rumazzo heard little dehydrated Pamela Hollingworth crying for help from the edge of a mountain brook. Moments later, the two men saw Pamela. Her blue eyes were filled with tears. Her braided

Community Breakfasts at Masonic Lodge Support Local Charities
BRISTOL — Mark your calendars for two upcoming opportunities to gather with friends, enjoy a hearty meal, and support local charities at the Monthly Community Break- fast, sponsored by the Sawhege- nit Chapter #52 of the New Hampshire Eastern Star. The breakfasts will take place on Feb- ruary 8th and March 8th, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge, located at 61 Pleasant Street in Bristol.
Proceeds from the break- fasts will benefit various char- itable initiatives supported by the Order of the Eastern Star, a global fraternal organization dedicated to charity, truth, and loving-kindness. Attendees can expect a welcoming atmosphere and the satisfaction of contrib- uting to meaningful causes while enjoying a delicious meal.
Sawhegenit Chapter #52, the event's sponsor, meets on the third Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Ma-
sonic Temple, taking a summer recess during July and August. The chapter is deeply involved in community-focused activi- ties and co-sponsors Plymouth Assembly #10 of the Order of Rainbow for Girls, a youth organization that meets in Hol-
