they sign in when they arrive and sign out when they leave. There is

a school management team whereby each member has a certain
task to focus on, the school management team always hold meetings
to discuss issues relating to the school and coming up with ways to

ensure that the school function effectively. Their job is to estimate the

school budget, plan and carry out school level performance
monitoring, conduct professional development programmes,
implement school programmes and activities, for example extra

classes.

The school principal has effective management skills, because he

listens and respect the wishes of the school population, he replies to
their needs. Another thing he does is that he listens to opinions and

recommendations, rather than detecting everyone without being
open to options of others. He motivates teachers and learners to

always do their best. The school management has good
communication skills, however, when it comes to consulting stuff

member about certain changes that are happening in the school
premises it seems to be a problem. Teachers are not consulted/ told

in time about those changes. Educators in schools are professionally
trained, this is evident because the teachers under-go an ongoing

professional development.

This is demonstrated with collaboration amongst the staff members,

for example teachers who specialise in similar subjects can work
together when creating test papers. Furthermore, communication is

effective between most of the teachers. However, many of the
teacher require technical development that will enhance the use of

technological aids in the school. This is because many teachers

cannot use technological devices which does not enhance the 21
century skills. Moreover, this challenge leads to educators using

traditional based methods of teaching, as a result it does not foster

the accommodation of learner’s multiple intelligences.

Effective teaching and learning take place in an effective classroom
environment. This means that the atmosphere and classroom layout

should be conducive for both teaching and learning. In this school
