      WAY TO FIT.



      Okay, so you can’t exactly “sleep your way to fit,” but did you
      know that sleep can still play an important part in your weight
      loss strategy? This often overlooked component of a healthy
      routine can make a big difference in helping you look better
      and feel better.

      The importance of sleep to your fitness routine and healthy
      diet has more to do with what happens when you don’t get
      enough sleep than what happens when you do. Lack of sleep
      influences the body’s hormonal response and can make you
      more prone to gain weight and overeat.
      Those who get less than an adequate amount of sleep each
      night may also feel sluggish and less energized, making them
      more likely to skip a workout and generally be less active
      throughout the day.
      When you add these things together, it’s easy to see what a
      powerful impact not getting enough sleep could have on your
      routine, even when you’re doing everything else right.
