III- Smoking outside Company premises
5. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area outside the office building which has adequate
ventilation and physical barriers to ensure that non smokers are not subject to any form of health hazards.
This is to ensure that employees benefit from a healthy and safe working environment and company meets
the statutory requirements laid down by law.

6. All employees, clients and other visitors are expected to comply with this policy. This policy must be
explained to any external clients visiting the company premises Employees who violate it may be subject
to appropriate disciplinary action.

IV- Misuse of drugs or consumption of alcohol while at work
7. Employees are prohibited to consume alcohol while on duty and/or report to work under the influence
of alcohol. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against employees violating the rules.

• Possession, consumption, sale or distribution of alcohol or illegal drugs on Company premises, or
being under the influence of alcohol or drugs at work is strictly prohibited.
• Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against any employee who reports to work under the
influence of alcohol or drugs or uses alcohol or drugs at work.
• If an employee must take a prescription drug for medical reasons, he/she will be permitted to use
and possess the drug while at work. However, it is advisable to carry the prescription with oneself
at all point of time as long as the drug is being consumed.
