System in which voters could vote on important public policies before they became law would make government
work better.

Now add the fact that, other than the Call Your Member of Congress fools game, millions of voters don’t currently
have access to a technology system that lets them communicate "yeas and nays" to their lawmakers. Did you know
that there is not one instance in recorded history of a lawmaker changing his or her position on a major policy issue
due to constituent phone calls? Not one.
