THE POWER OF TAKING THE PLUNGE

Tension. In the article, Dr. Fink describes his
research of over 10,000 patients who suffered
from severe tension – those who had
psychological imbalances. What he found most
interesting is that all of his patients were
habitual faultfinders. His conclusions were that
the habit of fault-finding is the prelude or mark
               of the mentally unbalanced.

There are two types of people in the world,
aren't there? There are life giving people and life
draining people. Life-giving people add value.
They leave you a little bit better than you were
when they found you. They tend to see the
world from your perspective with you.

We don’t build up or encourage people by
telling them how great we are; we build
them up or encourage them by telling them
               how great they are.

You may have heard the story of the lady who
went to dinner with Mr. Gladstone one evening
and Mr. Disraeli, both prominent English
Statesman. She said, “After dinner with Mr.
Gladstone, I thought he was the smartest
person in England, but after dinner with Mr.
               Disraeli, I thought I was!”
