THE POWER OF TAKING THE PLUNGE


               Taking on the attitude of gratitude will change
               your life significantly.

               One  of  the  best  ways  to  recondition  your
               attitude is to make a gratitude list. A few years
               ago, I wrote the top 100 things in my life that
               made me grateful. I knew that it was important
               to write that list when I was totally alone, and it
               was  important  to  write  within  the  first  thirty
               minutes  upon  awakening  in  the  morning.
               Famous  American  Author,  Henry  Ward
               Beecher, called it the rudder of the day. Your
               subconscious mind is more amenable to your
               suggestions upon awakening.

               The  next  time  you  catch  yourself  starting  to
               complain  about  anything,  catch  yourself,  and
               replace that internal dialog with a phrase like, “I
               am grateful for the lesson that this situation is
               teaching me.” Or, something simple like, “I am
               wonderfully blessed.” What you speak about —
               you bring about, whether you say it aloud or
               silently  to  yourself.  The  subconscious  reacts
               without judgment or bias.
