God did not send his Son into the world, to condemn the world; but that they
should be delivered. He who atones and believes in him will not be convicted; he
who does not believe has already been condemned, for not believing in the name
of the only begotten Son of God. It is not everyone who merely says to me, my
lord, my Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the Will of
my Father in heaven.
Woe to the world because of transgression! Crime is destined to come; but woe
to the man by whose hand the crimes come!
Jesus said Peter and Andrew who were in the boat with Him, have you
understood all of these things? They said to him, yes, our Lord.
Great Catch of Fish
When he was through speaking, he said to Peter and Andrew, row out to the
deep and cast your net for a catch. Peter answered and said to him. Teacher, we
have labored all night, and have caught nothing; just because of your word, I will
cast the net. When they had done this, they enclosed a great many fish; and their
net was breaking. So, they signaled to their partners James and his brother John
in the other boat to come and help them. When they came, they filled both the
boats tell they were almost sinking. When Peter saw this entire issue, he fell at
the feet of Jesus, revered him and said forgive me Lord for I am a sinful man. He
was amazed and all who were near because of the catch of fish which they took
in. Jesus said to Peter and those who helped; from henceforth you will be
catching men for life. They rowed the boats to shore and on the shore, they
separated the good and placed them in bags. The bad they cast out. Then they
took their nets and hung them out to dry. Jesus observed, then began to walk
along the Sea of Galilee looking back he said to them all follow me and they left
everything and followed him.
Lord of the Sabbath
At that time, Jesus walked through the wheat fields; his followers became hungry,
and plucked ears of wheat then rubbed them in their hands and did eat. When
some of the men of the Pharisees saw, them doing what is unlawful to do on the
Sabbath. They said to him look what your followers are doing which is unlawful to
do on the Sabbath. He said to them, have you not read what David did when he
and those who were with him were hungry? How he entered into the house of
God when Abiathar was the chief priest and took bread that was on the table of
the Lord. He and those who were with him ate the bread which was not lawful to
be eaten except by the priests. The Sabbath was created for the sake of man,
and not man for the sake of the Sabbath. The Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath.
Have you not read in the scriptures, that the priests in the Synagogues disregard
the Sabbath, and yet are faultless? I say to you, that there is one here, who is
