Who is My Mother
While he was speaking to the people, his mother and his younger brothers came
and stood outside. They were not able to speak to him because of the crowd.
They sent in to call him. Then a man said to him your mother and your youngest
brothers are standing outside and they want to see and speak with you. He
looked around at his followers sitting around him. He answered saying to him
who told him who is my mother and who are my brothers? He looked at those
who sat near him and pointed his hand to his followers and said these are my
mother and my brothers, those who hear the word of God and believe in him.
Discern, my mother and discern my brothers. Whoever does the Will of my
Father in heaven are my brother and my sister and my mother.
Paralyzed Man Healed
Four men carrying a paralyzed man on a quilt came from a distance. As they
approached the house the crowd of people who had gathered around outside
had made it impossible for them to enter through the door. They wanted to go in
and lay him before Jesus. When they were unable to come near him because of
the crowd of people they went up onto the roof and uncovered it over the place
where Jesus was. They lowered him down on the quilt bed from the hole in the
ceiling into the midst before Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the
paralytic have courage my son your sins have been forgive. Now some of the
teachers of the Law and Pharisees setting there reasoned saying among

only? Jesus perceived in his spirit that they were reasoning among themselves.
He said to them why do you reason these things in your hearts? Why do you
think evil? Which is easier to say to the man your sins have been forgive or to
say arise take up your quilt bed and walk? That you may know that the Son of
man has authority on earth to forgive sins and has authority to heel this man. He
then looked at the paralytic man on the quit bed and said I tell you rise. Take up
your quilt bed and go to your home. Straightway he rose up before their eyes and
took up his quilt bed and went out before the eyes of them all to his home
praising God. When the crowds saw, him come out carrying his quilt bed they
marveled and every man was seized with amazement. They praised and glorified
God because he had given such authority as this to men. Saying we have never
seen anything like it. Today we have seen wonders.
Parable Strong Man
He then spoke this parable how can a man enter into a strong man’s house and
plunder his goods, except he first binds the strong man, and then he plunders his
house? They that are not with me are against me; they, who do not gather with
me, shall be cast out. Jesus said to them, every scribe who is converted to the
