Marriage Feast

Jesus said the Kingdom of God is like a king who gave a marriage-feast for his
son, and he sent out his followers at supper time to call those who were invited to
                   the marriage feast. Tell them my supper is made ready everything is prepared;
come to the marriage feast. Many sneered at them. When he finished speaking
he went out of the house and the sun was setting.

                                                     Calm the Storm

Jesus and his followers came to the Sea of Galilee and went up and sat in a boat
with his followers; at evening he said let us cross over the lake to the landing
place. They left the people, and took him away while he was in the boat. There
were other boats and many followed. While they were rowing Jesus fell asleep
on a blanket in the stern of the boat. There arose a strong wind a heavy storm
arose on the lake. The waves kept falling into the boat, so that the boat was near
sinking. His followers came near to him and awoke him and said to him, Teacher
do you not care Lord. Save us we are perishing. Jesus said to them why are you
fearful; O you of little faith? Then he got up and rebuked the winds and said to
the sea peace be still. The wind quieted down and there was a great calm. They
were amazed and wondered, saying one to another, who is this man, who even
commands the winds, and the waves and the sea obey him? They then began to
row and came to the coast of Gadara opposite Galilee.

                                                  Lunatic Many Names

They rowed and reached the port on the cost of the country belonging to the
Gadarenes opposite Galilee. When they landed, Jesus went out of the boat, he
saw a lunatic coming out of the cemetery. He was not wearing cloths and did not
live in a house but in the cemetery. During the nights and days, he would be
either in the cemetery or on the mountain cutting him-self with stones crying
aloud. He was exceedingly vicious so that no man would dare to pass by that
road from the cemetery to the mountain. No man could bind him in fetters or
chains because he broke the chains and cut the fetters. No man could control
him. He was driven by the Pharisees to dwell in the desert like one of the beast.
When at some distance, he saw Jesus. He ran and fell before him and
worshiped him. He cried with a loud voice and said what have we in common
Jesus son of the Highest God. Have you come to heal me of my disease? Jesus
asked him, what is your name? He said to him my name is Legion because I
have many names. The Lunatic begged him not to send him out of the country.
He said to Jesus if you are going to heal me permit us to attack the herd of
swine. Now there was near by a large herd of swine feeding on the mountain. He
permitted him and immediately the lunatic left and attacked the swine. The whole
herd went straight to the cliff and fell into the Sea and was drown in the water.
When the herdsmen saw, what had happened they fled to the city. They reported
