After the HTC Watermark Retention feature is activated, a timer job named HTC Watermark Retention
Timer Job is added to your SharePoint farm. This timer job automatically deletes the temporary files
generated by the HTC Watermark feature. The temporary files are stored under the …\Program
Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server
Extensions\15\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\WatermarkManagement\WatermarkPaper\temp directory on each
Web front-end server in the farm. By default this timer job is scheduled to run once a day. If desired,
you can customize the schedule for running this timer job by navigating to Central Administration >
Monitoring > Review Job Definitions > HTC Watermark Retention Timer Job, and configuring the
Recurring Schedule.
