Configuring the General Watermark Settings

With the General HTC Watermark Settings feature is activated in the Central Administration site, the
Watermark Management link is added to the Central Administration interface. By clicking this link, you
can access the Watermark Management interface for configuring the General Watermark Settings of
the default watermark for documents within all of the site collections that have the HTC Watermark
feature deployed. To configure the General Watermark Settings, complete the steps below:

1. Click Watermark Management in the Central Administration interface to access the Watermark
Management interface.

2. Select the type of the default watermark:

• Use text as watermark – To use text as watermark, select this option and enter the
desired text in the text box below.

• Upload a picture as watermark – To use a picture as watermark, complete the following
steps:
i. Select the Upload a picture as watermark option.

ii. Click the Browse… button. The Choose File to Upload window appears.

iii. Select the desired picture and click Open to upload it.
