Configuring a PowerPoint Automation Service
Application in SharePoint 2013
To ensure the HTC Watermark feature can quickly convert PowerPoint Presentation files into PDF files
with watermarks, complete the following steps to configure a PowerPoint Automation Service
Application for the Web applications where you want to use the HTC Watermark feature:
1. Click Application Management in Central Administration of SharePoint 2013 to access the
Application Management interface.
2. Click Manage services on server under the Service Applications heading to access the Services
on Server interface.
3. In the Server filed, select the server where the Web applications where you want to use the HTC
Watermark feature reside.
4. Locate the PowerPoint Conversion Service in the Service column and check whether or not it is
Started. If not, click Start to start it.
