Give me women, wine, and snuff

DADME MUJERES, VINO, Y RAPÉ

Dadme mujeres vino y rapé
hasta que grite "¡Basta, es suficiente!"
Puedes hacerlo sin objeción
hasta el día de la Resurrección:
Por Dios, que ésta será para siempre
mi amada trinidad.

"El vino siembra poesía en los corazones" dijo Dante Alighieri, y ese efecto debió causar el vino en el
gran poeta Keats, amante del buen vino a pesar de su corta y agitada vida cuando escribió esta poesía.
El propio Keats dijo: "Una obra de arte es un gozo eterno".
Para mí el buen vino es arte, arte del bueno y parte de ese maravilloso legado, lo podemos disfrutar con
los magníficos vinos de la familia Schlegel.

"Wine sows poetry in hearts", said Dante Alighieri, and that effect must have been caused by wine on great
poet Keats, lover of good wine in spite of his short and excited life, when he wrote this poem.
Keats himself said: "A thing of beauty is a joy forever".
To me, good wine is art, art of the very best, and we can enjoy part of that wonderful legacy with the
Schlegel family's magnificent wines.
