Ocilla Rotary OCILLA, GA—Commissioner Spencer R. Moore
was guest speaker at the Ocilla Rotary Club’s
August 14th meeting on August 14th in Irwin County.

The meeting provided the perfect venue for
Commissioner Moore to showcase DDS
achievements, highlight major DDS strategic
initiatives (including the new DDS Mobile
Services App), as well as remind Irwin County’s
community leaders about DDS online services
and the Secure ID requirements for obtaining
and renewing a Georgia driver’s license or
identification card.

The Ocilla Rotarians offered a warm welcome, a
delicious lunch, and were very complimentary of
DDS, specifically mentioning the phenomenal
customer service provided by Sarah Hall’s team
at the Tifton CSC and Tami Fender’s team at the
Douglas CSC.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Commissioner
Moore had the opportunity to personally
present Ocilla Rotarian Tyler Harper, State
Senator and Chair of the Senate Public Safety
Committee, with a DDS plaque of appreciation
for sponsoring our 2017 agency legislation in the
Senate.

Traditionally, Rotary Clubs throughout the state
have been an excellent means for DDS to engage
with community leaders.
