Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRCL) is a 50:50 joint venture between
The Government of India and The Government of Maharashtra and a SPV (Special
Purpose Vehicle) created for the execution of Nagpur Metro Rail Project. The project
consists of two corridors- North-South (Automotive Square to MIHAN) and East-
West (Prajapati Nagar to Lakmanya Nagar). This alignment is approved by both- The
Government of India and The Government of Maharashtra through The Ministry of
Urban Development. The project is approved by The Government of Maharashtra
