3 DEMOLITION PREPARATION

Like any other well-managed execution work of Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation
Limited (NMRCL), dismantling of this bridge was no exception. The work was not
only completed in less than 60% of the allocated time but not even a single minor or
major injury or near misses was reported during the whole assignment. The work
being a very specialized job; was given to an agency having a good experience in
massive demolitions -M/s Matte and Associates.

The main problematic issue of any such type of assignment could be multiple and
unfortunately unforeseen circumstances. But under the leadership of a very
competent Director level monitoring, many typical issues were very easily resolved
at the initial stage only.
