PREPARATIONS: 20 DAY PLAN TO 15 DAY EXECUTION

Planning with regard to ease the traffic movement and proper barricading was done
efficiently so as to avoid any mishaps or accidents. The entire demolition area was
demarcated off use well before time. This area is located in a very high traffic zone
and hence taking utmost care during diversion was imperative. The local residents
abiding in the nearby vicinity were provided with parking tokens. These tokens were
necessary in order to be granted access inside the demolition area. Traffic marshals
were present round the clock to ensure smooth diversion of traffic and also to assist
the residents to commute effortlessly. Proper signage were used and put up well in
advance to make the public more aware and alert. They could also plan their
journey beforehand keeping in mind the temporary inconvenience. The public too
cooperated with NMRCL aptly and the response was fitting. In a nut shell, various
steps were taken by NMRCL to make this transition a hassle free move
