1.2 Stall Risers

Where possible, shop fronts are to be glazed
down to 400mm above internal floor level, or
such other dimension as the drawings indicate
for each project.

Externally, stall risers are normally to be finished in
powder coated aluminium panels to RAL 7043.

Alternative finishes to stall risers where PPC
aluminium panels are not used may include a
150mm x 150mm dark grey tile to match RAL
7043, facing brickwork or painted render to
match existing external finishes.

Internally, the stall riser is to be finished in grey
laminate Abet 879 Grigio Grafite (to match
RAL 7043 Traffic Grey)

NOTE: that if a gas pipe is to enter through a thin timber/
aluminium stallriser, the gas suppliers will require that a
support frame be constructed under the pipe on the inside
of the stall riser, to relieve any future strain on the gas pipe
elbow. The gas meter must be installed within a lockable,
30 minute fire rated cupboard that is ventilated to fresh air
through the stall riser (all vents must be pest proof).
