The Principal Contractor must arrange for
suitable power supplies and time controls to all
signage ensuring all cables are concealed from
view. The principal contractor must also ensure
that the signage substrate is suitably dressed
and watertight, with a weatherproof flashing
to be installed to cover the junction between
sign and building (silicon mastic seal is not
acceptable).
1.5.2 Setting Out Guidelines
In order to create the right proportions between
the lettering and logos on different heights of
fascias, the following guidelines should be
adopted. In some cases the dimensions below
may not be appropriate and the approved
signage drawings should be referenced for
confirmation.
