2.9 Fixtures and Fittings

2.9.1 Collect Screen(s)
At least 1no digital collect screen must be
installed within every store. In smaller stores, it
is recommended that this screen be recessed
into the return wall of the counter collect point.

• The collect screen adjacent to the counter
is to be recessed into the stud wall.
• This screen is to have a 30mm void around it
for maintenance access when required.
• The frame to hide the void is to be removable
with a 50mm wide border, in white powder
coated MDF (RAL 9016).
• The monitor recess is to be painted black
internally prior to fitting the monitor bracket
itself.
• The finished dimensions of the opening:
524mm(W) x 330mm(H) x 112 mm(D) to suit
Samsung 32” screen supplied by DPG IT
department
• A plywood panel will be required to the back
of the opening to hold the monitor bracket.

In stores with more than 12no seats, a second
collect or ‘repeater’ screen may be installed
within the customer area. This should be
centred on the junction between contrasting
wall finishes. The exact position and number
of screens will be agreed on a project specific
basis. To suit the proximity and layout of seating
for eat in and carry-out customers.
