4.3.8 Testing and Completion
Upon completion the electrical installation shall
be fully tested, proved and working.

• Full test results and the appropriate
certification shall be provided for all electrical
systems including emergency lights and fire
alarms.
• An emergency telephone number for the
electrician, MUST be written on the fire alarm
panel for use in the event of electrical/
operating faults.
• The reset code MUST be written on the fire
alarm panel.
• Provide a comprehensive operation and
maintenance manual including details of
the systems installed and record drawings
indicating the layout and interconnections
of all items.
• Allow to demonstrate the operation of all
electrical systems to the end user at hand
over.
• Final invoices will not be paid until test
certificates are received.
• Testing certificates to be provided by main
contractor AT LEAST 24 hours prior to IT
installation by DPG IT team.
