technology integration, will oversee and manage dispensary
operations to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient supply of
medications.
11 Pharmacists will be focused on medicines safety.

Pharmacists will guarantee the safe use of medications, ensuring
clinical appropriateness while supporting patients through
medication optimization services. This will focus particularly
on individuals with complex needs and those using high-risk
medications. Achieving this will necessitate pharmacists' full
integration and close collaboration with the broader healthcare team.

12 The adoption of technology will improve safety, efficiency
and how future services are delivered to suit patient need.

Innovative delivery models utilizing technology, such as automation
and artificial intelligence, will facilitate a safe, appropriate, and
efficient supply of medications. Enhanced data and communication
systems will promote shared patient care among all healthcare
professionals. Furthermore, technology will allow pharmacies to
engage with patients and the public in diverse ways, ensuring
that individuals can access healthcare when needed and in their
preferred manner, ultimately contributing to the reduction of health
inequalities.
