- Brown leather belt with the width of 3 cm. with the Institute’s emblem
buckle.
- Institute’s emblem brooch (3*2 cm.) needs to be placed on the right side
of the blouse above breast level.
- Plain black or dark-brown formal shoes; white sneakers allowed for
freshmen only.
4.2 Ceremonial Attire
- Male ceremonial student uniform consists of black standing collar suit,
with a breast pocket on the left side and buttoning from the neck down to
the waist. At the middle of the front side vertical long strip with the width
of 5 cm. covering vertical buttons shall be in place. At the end of each
sleeve 3 black buttons of 1 cm. in diameter shall be sewn in vertical
direction. Institute’s emblem brooch (3*2 cm.) needs to be placed on the
left side of the collar. Trousers, belt and shoes are in black. .
- For female students, the jacket of the suit is the same as for male students,
the skirt shall be knee-length with no pleat. The Institute’s brooch shall be
placed on the right side in the same level of the left breast pocket. The
belt and shoes are the same as for regular attire.
4.3 Workshop or laboratory uniform consists of:
Engineering students have to wear engineering workshop shirt while studying in
workshop or laboratory. Only plain crimson cloth with appropriate size is allowed, as crimson is a
color of Engineering Faculty. The shirt has a Hawaii collar, short sleeves and a square breast pocket
on the left. There are 2 square pockets at the waist and 1 small pocket on the left sleeve. On the
back of the shirt there are two pleats, one on each side of the flap, with 3 cm. wide cloth band
between them. The shirt’s hem ends around the level of trousers’ pockets. The height of
embroidered Institute’s emblem on the right chest of the shirt is 4 cm. with 1 cm. high embroidered
Institute’s name right under. The height of golden embroider for the abbreviation of the student’s
major and year number is 1 cm. For trousers, skirt, belt, and shoes, the student shall follow what
stated in the dress codes for regular attire or in case of necessity other type of attire can be used with
the approval of lecturers or the Dean. In case the other Faculty also wants to have their students wear
workshop attire, the approval of the President or the Dean is required.
