Course Accreditation and Credit Transfer for Undergraduate Studies*
1. Submission of request for course accreditation and credit transfer:
1.1 In the event of new student, he/she must notify the intention to accredit the course
and transfer credit to Student Admissions Center within the student admission period scheduled by
the Institute.
1.2 For current student, he/she shall notify the intention to request course accreditation
and credit transfer to the Registrar Office at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the registration process
of the upcoming semester.
1.3 If the new student notifies his/her intention to request for course accreditation and
credit transfer after registering as a new student, there shall be no refund for those credits
transferred. The same applies to registered student that notify the Registration Office of the said
intent after finishing the registration for the upcoming semester.
2. Sources of knowledge that are eligible for course accreditation and credit transfer:
2.1 Course studied from other higher education institutions.
2.2 Experience, language skill, knowledge, competency gained from learning by other
methods, as well as working, training, and self-learning in various forms.
2.3 Course studied or activities performed under the exchange programs and field trips
both domestically or in foreign countries, which organized or permitted by the Institute.
2.4 Training course from national and international training institution that accepted
by the Institute.
2.5 Course from non-formal education and informal study.
2.6 Course studied inside the Institute.
2.7 Course accreditation and transfer of credit from other special projects specified by
the Institute
2.8 For source of knowledge not covered above, the approval from the Course
Accreditation and Credit Transfer Committee is required.
