                               3.  Course accreditation and transfer of credit for courses studied at other higher education
                        institutions:
                                  3.1 The following guidelines shall be followed.
                                      3.1.1  The  Program  Chair  or  Program  Committee,  authorized  by  the  Course
                        Accreditation and Credit Transfer Committee, shall be responsible for considering the contents of
                        the  course  to  be  accredited  and  determine  whether  it  is  necessary  to  re-assessing  the  learning
                        outcomes before allowing the course accreditation and credit transfer.
                                      3.1.2  Only  courses  contained  more  than  three-fourth  of  the  contents  of  courses
                        provided at the Institute shall be accepted as accreditation and transfer of credit.
                                      3.1.3 Course accreditation and transfer of credit of course or group of courses  is
                        possible only the grade received for that course or group of courses is  higher than C or 2.00, or
                        according to the relevant announcement of the student’s Program or Faculty.
                                      3.1.4 Number of credits the Institute shall consider for transfer must not exceed
                        three-fourth of total credits required by the specific program.
                                      3.1.5 The course entitles for accreditation and credit transfer must have been taken
                        within 5 years prior to the time of request.
                                      3.1.6 A minimum study time of one academic year and no less than of 25% of the
                        total credits are required in order to be eligible for graduation.
                                      3.1.7 In  calculation  of  cumulative  grade  point  average or  GPAX  for  graduation
                        and receive the degree certificate of the Institute, the GPAX shall be calculated based only on the
                        academic results of the courses studied at the Institute, not including courses transferred.
                                      3.1.8  If  the  credits  previously  acquired  from  a  specific  course  is  less  than  the
                        credits offered for the target course, the multiple related courses can be combined to match the three-
                        fourth criteria of the contents with the combined credits that are equal or more than the credits of the
                        target course. The grade received for every course in this account must be higher than C or 2.00.
                               4.  Course  accreditation  and  credit  transfer  from  non-formal  education  and/or  informal
                        study:
                                  4.1  The  student  who  possesses  experiences  in  working,  training,  field  trip  or
                        internship with  adequate assessments from  organizations accepted by the Institute can request for
                        additional course accreditation and transfer of credit in accordance with the related announcements
                        of  the  Institute.  The  Program  Chair,  with  the  consent  of  the  Course  Accreditation  and  Credit
                        Transfer Committee, shall consider the details of said experiences and determine the necessity for
                        re-assessing the outcomes.
