“Production Management by Toyota Production System” organized by Thai-Nichi Institute of

5. Course accreditation and credit transfer for courses on language, social science and
humanities, elective, cooperative education or internship, extra-curricular activity subjects:
5.1 The College of General Educations and Languages (CGEL) shall be responsible
for course accreditation and credit transfer of subjects on English Language, Japanese Language and
Thai Language.
5.1.1 In the event where the student has never studied at higher education
institution but possesses language knowledge proficiency or skill test, the student shall receive
appropriate assessment from the College of General Educations and Languages which can result in
two ways of recommendation.
1) If the student passed the assessment of the College of General
Education and Languages, CGEL may recommend the student to
proceed for credit accreditation and credit recognition. In this case the
student is obliged to pay the course accreditation and credit transfer
fee stipulated in the related regulation of the Institute before the
registration period and does not have to register to take that course.
The record for the course shall be in accordance with the credit
transfer rules. However, the student who selects this recommendation
will be notified that he/she shall cease the right to receive the Honors
degree from the Institute according to the undergraduate regulations.
2) The CGEL recommends the student to register to take the course (not
accreditation and transfer of credit), under the condition that the
CGEL may introduce learning and assessment method that differs
from ordinary students. In this case, it is not considered as credit
transfer and the student will receive the grade point based on the
assessment result of CGEL and the student maintains the right to
receive the Honors degree from the Institute.
