POSITION CHARTER FRONT OFFICE-BELLMAN

In accordance with the policies, procedure, and standards of Enable
Hospitality Inc., Bellman provides assistance to guest in terms of

responsible for providing complete and accurate information in response
to internal and external queries.

G. Limits of authority: Over Staff: Has no authority to direct and supervise all other staffs in
Concierge and other departments

I. Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that cleanliness and orderliness are up to hotel minimum quality standards.
2. Review arrival and departure of the day as part of preparations for duty.
3. Meet all arriving guests adhering to the hotel minimum quality standards.
4. Take charge in managing all hotel entrance and lobby traffic:
a.) Maintain alertness and presence at the main entrance.
b.) Approach all incoming vehicles and opening vehicle doors for guests.
c.) Assist in unloading luggage from vehicles.
d.) Direct guests to Front Desk Area.
5. Provide luggage assistance service and ensure that all incoming luggage are delivered immediately to the
correct room.
6. Conduct rooming-in process for guest within the Minimum Quality Standards
7. Coordinate with Front Office – Guest Service Associate to ensure all matters have been settled before
leaving the guests inside their rooms.
8. Provide guests with needed information and assistance on a wide variety of topics and services which may
include but is not limited to the following:
a.) Hotel facilities, services, promotions, packages
b.) Local entertainment activities
c.) Local and national tourist and/or business data
9. Arrange transportation requirements of guests.
10. Assist in selling hotel services which add on to hotel’s revenue such as transportation services, food and
beverage promotions, tour packages.
11. Ensure lobby positioning is follow during work period.
12. Familiar with the hotel’s activities and facilities, promotions, and all related facts
13. Attend scheduled training and participates in company initiated employee activities.
