Luna explained that her mother was originally from her

planet but moved to earth because she was fascinated by

humans’ living. Their mother fell in love with Tala’s father

and got married; thus, Tala was born. However, because

more arguments broke out between the couple, their

mother frequently visited her origin planet but always went

back to earth to care for Tala. And during her frequent visits

to her original home, she fell in love with Luna’s father, who

sadly passed away as well after the death of their mother.

Tala did not notice that her mother was pregnant back

then because they had a certain magic to hide things from

humans; it worked on Tala as she was half-human. Luna

also told her that she came down to earth because she saw

Tala, her half older sister, struggling. She could feel her

anxieties and understand her complex thoughts because

from the planet they were from, families could understand

each other, emotionally and physically; that’s why Tala can

get a glimpse of other people’s dreams. She came to

comfort and to reassure her that someone is looking out for

her and to lose all her worries because, in the end, she

never walks alone. Luna came to prove to her that their

mother’s death was not her fault and to tell her all the

things that her family or anyone failed to say to her to lift

her spirits and give her hope and inspiration. Luna was

pretty articulate with her words for a nine-year-old, and

they were extremely reassuring. It was nice that she knew

she had a kind, caring, and intelligent little sister.
