The responses
In order to ensure anonymity whilst reviewing responses on a local (office/team) basis, the suggestions
and opinions listed below are not verbatim. Any comments that could be deemed specific to any
individual have not been included in these results.
These responses are grouped by office, but many responses need to be addressed companywide.
- Control and standardization of company documents, styles,
fonts, branding and image.
- A stronger recycling & environmental responsibility policy.
- Awards and official recognition for junior staff.
- Allocation of time for staff to be able to follow their interests in
the field rather than being limited to day-to-day tasks.
Bristol Office (including - A monthly internal newsletter / regular reports to give staff sight
London traffic team) of changes to the business and decisions being made.
- More involvement of office staff in meetings, site visits and
conferences.
- More professional development reviews (both formal and
informal).
- More active support from management in organisation of
training days, events, conferences etc.
- More senior management presence in the office.
- Greater understanding and communication of other business
functions specialisms to enable sharing of clients and skillsets
throughout the company.
Exeter Office - Clear visibility of reporting lines needs developing.
- Clearer communication of the company structure and how it is
run.
- More support to provide an enjoyable, professional office
environment.
London Office - Increased/better employee benefits or corporate discounts.
Construction Team - More communication from Senior Management especially
around plans for the future and business state / performance.
London Office Highways - More formal training and leadership training to help with
Team progression.
- Improved collaborative spaces and flexible working hours.
