                    Areas of Strength

All questions excluding 8e bordered on the ‘Agree’ boundary. Overall the employees feel the company
provides opportunities for continued education and supports their training to be effective in delivering
                    their jobs.
                    Areas of Attention
The employees do not feel there are leadership opportunities within the organisation. Almost half of the
employees either felt this was an issue or felt indifferent about the statement. When broken down by
office the results are as follows:
                    Bristol Office
One individual disagreed, with another four being indifferent about the career opportunities provided.
                    Exeter Office

Out of the six respondents, one individual strongly disagreed, two disagreed and one was indifferent.
                    London Construction
Out of the five respondents, two disagreed, and one strongly disagreed that there were career
                    opportunities at Norman Rourke Pryme.
                    London Highways
Three of the fourteen respondents were indifferent about the statement.
                    Possible Improvements
A clear internal progression line with grade boundaries set against years of experience and qualifications
would provide employees with targets and explanation for staff movements.
Increased communication around company strategy and aspirations for growth would help employees
see opportunities for long term careers with the organisation.
